Cattery Information

Family Love Cattery was started in 1989 on a very small scale. My first Burmese was a Christmas gift from my son and my husband. Oh how we loved Alexandra. So, we decided to take her to one show where she won a ribbon! WOW! Someone else thought she was special so we decided to let her have one litter. Well the rest is history. I now have 6 breeding females and 2 whole males living here at my home. Plus I co-own 2 additional females and 2 males who live at another breeder's cattery.

I raise TRADITIONAL lines exclusively which is very important to me because I care a lot about the health of my kittens. I do all I can to stay abreast of the latest information on feline husbandry by reading and attending seminars. I am a graduate of a weekend seminar on feline health held exclusively for breeders at Cornell University.

After my kittens are litterbox trained, they live with their Mom in their own bedroom. This means they get lots of hands on love and people socialization. They always have a person to cuddle with in bed and a lap to snooze in. That's one of the reasons why the kitties grow up to be so loving.

I enjoy keeping in contact with people who have purchased a cat from me. It seems my past customers are very happy as evidenced by their many nice letters.
